[A GOP] memo follows the increasing drumbeat from many House Republicans – and certainly the GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump – to pursue impeachment of the sitting president even without a clear establishment of facts.

But, so far, it appears the committee has not found any direct evidence that President Biden personally benefited from any of his son’s business dealings. Republicans are now insisting they don’t have to.

"No one in the Biden Administration or in the Minority has explained what services, if any, the Bidens and their associates provided in exchange for the over $20 million in foreign payments," reads the memo.

To reiterate, the Republicans cannot find evidence that Joe Biden was bribed or somehow benefitted personally from illicit foreign money or any evidence that he performed favors outside his approved governmental duties as vice president.

I look forward to the Republicans explaining how the guy they accuse of having dementia covered his tracks and is a criminal mastermind plotting a complicated international scheme involving bribery.

James Comer isn’t doing GOP any favors with latest anti-Biden dud
Fox News’ Steve Doocy, who's noticed the Kentucky Republican’s inability to produce any meaningful evidence, asked the congressman what crime he thinks the president might’ve committed.

“Well, the crime is that, trading policy for money,” Comer replied. When Doocy asked the obvious follow-up question — what “policy” are we talking about — the committee chairman added, “Well, we’re gonna get into that.”

We are? That’s great news. I’ve been waiting all year for Comer and his cohorts to “get into that,” and it was reassuring to know that this is poised to happen.

Except, of course, it’s not. The Oversight Committee chairman released a new memo yesterday, and as Politico reported, it included as much evidence against the president as all of his earlier memos — which is to say, none.

...we're gunna get into that. Exactly what pb's been saying.

We know that all that juicy stuff Tony Bobulinski told ol Tuck hasn't come up yet. Nor has Rob Walker spoken. Nor the FBI whistle-blowers.

But, here's the thing, Curt. The GOPs aren't maneuvering to have a red state Attorney General convict "that feckless dementia-ridden piece of crap" for any crime.

Impeachment is a purely political process. As po'd really say, effinmisdemeanor, baby!

That's gotta turn your gut inside out.

IMO, Kevin McCarthy is gunna milk this for everything he can. Slow drumbeat to the Impeachment Inquiry. Then the Inquiry. Then the vote to hold Impeachment Hearings. Then the Hearings. Then the actual Impeachment.

Lots and lots of fanfare and drama and you Dem Good Germans are absolutely, as po'd really say, effinpowerless to do anything but watch, oh, and shout BUT TRUMP! BUT TRUMP!!!!!

And, Curt. STEVE Doocy? He's lib equal time on the morning show.

And it's exactly what Rudy Giuliani kept saying all the way up to his having to testifying before a grand jury before he was indicted.

    You morons have got nothing.

The man is going to be buried in all the books thrown at him.

No I haven't. That's a lie. I have never set any kind of time frame about any of this. Just because I say something is going to happen, it doesn't mean that it already has or is about to.

Boy you are really flailing like mad today. Slow news day on Fox...?
